CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

As a reminder, Runway 5-23 will be CLOSED starting tomorrow evening, September 7 at 2200L through 0600L on Friday, September 8, weather dependent.

Runway 13-31 will remain open, but Taxiway Bravo, East of Taxiway Alpha, will be closed. DM encourages all operators to check NOTAMS before flying tomorrow evening or early Friday (September 8) morning as well.

This nightly-closure of Runway 5-23 is to accommodate grooving work on the recently paved section of runway during Phase IX of MMU’s Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project.

The contractor has advised DM that the Taxiway Alpha/Bravo intersection will reopen tomorrow, September 7 at approximately 1600L as well, weather dependent. Paving and centerline painting have been completed while final taxiway safety area restoration is expected to be completed tomorrow. DM will send a follow up when more details become available.
